From changing locations and names to its origins, the Wurstmarkt (sausage market) looks back on an eventful history. Despite its name, wine traditionally plays the dominant role at the Wurstmarkt. All the wines offered here are award-winning and come from vineyards in Bad Dürkheim.
Today, the Wurstmarkt is the world's largest wine festival , boasting nine days of celebration, 36 wine stalls, 300 wines and sparkling wines, 600 years of tradition, over 600,000 visitors – a truly unique experience.
